Unfortunately it snowed moderately the day of the reservation and since I was driving from Indiana. It took a LOT longer to get there than expected. I called Fioretta, they said it was okay, that they would be able to make it work. Mind you, I got there an hour late. They still honored my reservation. The service was great and the food came out promptly. Meatballs lacked seasoning, shrimp scampi was 100/10. Crab bisque and burrata with peppers were both mid. 24oz ribeye was looked perfectly however it was too salty. They even brought extra seasoning that they used on the ribeye so we can add as we please. But there was no need as the salt overpowered everything. The marscapone whipped potatoes were also 100/10. Olive oil cake with gelato was 100/10, my server recommended it and recommended a bite with a little gelato and a piece of the cake, it was delicious. Tiramisu was mid. The cocktails all had good flavors but they lacked layers. They were for the most part all 1 note. So overall, get the shrimp scampi and the whipped potatoes forsure. I also think they can bring the $$$$$ down a notch- it doesnt match the mid quality of the food.More infoFiorettaPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• West Loop•4.7

We tried Eve egg luxury bite and loved them all. The wagyu tartar and king crab and potato skin w caviar were our favorites. Oysters were stellar! Beet and apple salad was a refreshing bridge between our small bites and steak with lobster tail. And the au gratin potatoes and mushroom sides were each beyond outstanding.More infoPrime & Provisions SteakhousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.7
- NNancyVIPChicago / Illinois •61 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhat a treat to rediscover RL after moving from Chicago a few years ago! On a bitter cold and snowy day, we decided on a last minute late lunch and had a marvelous meal. Our server, Amanda was outstanding, personable and enthusiastically answered my husband's questions about the walleye, which he throughly enjoyed. It was light and flavorful and deemed as good as (though he meant better) than the shore lunches he had while fishing in Canada. I enjoyed the off the menu special crab cake that was sumptuous and delicious to the last bite....better than the ordinary restaurant fare. Though we usually like to read the dessert menu and then pass so we can smugly congratulate ourselves on our willpower, we gave in this day when Amanda told us about the peanut butter cheesecake-like texture presented as a small cake shape and drizzled with chocolate. Boy if there was ever a time to deviate from our cautious approach to desserts, this was it! This was how do they describe it, "smack your mama good?" That was it. So good we talked about it on our way back home to Michigan...the entire visit this time renewed our love for Chicago and the little moments like this that mean so much. A great way to spend some time during a classic urban winter snow storm. Thank you Amanda and the talented RL chef!More infoRL RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.8
