Our reservation was a little earlier than I personally like but...🤭when you make it 3 days before V-Day! It ended up being the perfect time. It was not crowded compared to when we finished. We got an appetizer - the fried calamari - it was not heavily coated and the calamari were tender! Warning - if you get this as an app, have more than two people sharing, it is huge! We got one of the specials for Valentine - two stuffed jumbo shrimp and lamb chops. Again, it was huge! We each brought one of the shrimp home for another meal! And I did leave one lamb chop to bring home. Our server, Josh, was great. They did not have the wine I wanted but he checked to see what others they had(we wanted a Malbec)! It was a wonderful evening and definitely on our places to return to!More infoBy The DocksPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Essex•4.5
- LLauraCentral Kentucky •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe went between lunch and dinner and only a few other tables so it was pretty quiet. I’m from out of town and it was my second time- I loved it that much the first time. The lobster bisque is some of the best i’ve ever had! Seafood is so fresh and everytime I’m in town I will visit!More infoJimmy's Famous SeafoodPrice: Moderate• Seafood• East Baltimore•4.7
- BBrianVIPBaltimore / Maryland •22 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMy wife and I had the pleasure of dining at The Ruxton on a random Monday night, and it turned into an unforgettable experience. We went with a mix of appetizers—grilled oysters, potato gnocchi in sage brown butter with goat cheese, Wagyu beef sliders, and king crab cocktail. It was a completely random selection, but every dish was outstanding. The gnocchi was rich and perfectly balanced, the Wagyu sliders were incredibly flavorful, and the king crab was fresh and sweet. All of it was complemented beautifully by a fantastic Sancerre. What truly elevated the evening, though, was our server, Sammy. Not only did Sammy provide exceptional service, but we also had a great conversation throughout the night. Engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, Sammy made the experience even more memorable. It’s rare to have such a combination of incredible food and outstanding hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning—and when I do, I’ll be asking for Sammy!More infoThe RuxtonPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Harbor East•4.8
