- MMichaelSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined todayAmazing food and helpful staff! Our waitress provided good recommendations that confirmed my prior research on the dishes we wanted to try. Highlights: smoked hamachi, green tartare, bravas potatoes, truffle cavatelli with bone marrow, and pistachio tiramisu. Cocktails were also on point!More infoAnima by EDOPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• The Gramercy•4.9

- JjoannaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •135 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMenu intrigued me and so I finally made it over to Rang's for lunch. Was greeted instantly and shown to a prepared two-top. Atmosphere: A high-low setting; melamine plates, diner silverware on paper napkins alongside a stark neutral color palette, twisted napkin-shaped light fixtures, plants on black shelves, and sketches depicting Latin scenes. Music was pop-song covers. Food- Mushroom Soup ($9): Fine. Thinner broth type, with the mushrooms shredded rather than sliced. Croutons were good. Lengua Salpicao ($19): Tender slightly chewy cubes, loads of garlic, a touch salty. Presented in a dish which shape (purposely?) resembled its contents in original form, as did the three crostini. Would have preferred more baguette slices to scoop up the sauce and meat, but menu listed $3 for five slices, so abstained. Opera Cake ($9): Very pretty with a good mirror chocolate top. Delicate chocolate and coffee flavor. Can of Sprite was $3. Value: Varies; might seem a trifle high for some menu items, but good for the more unusual offerings. Service: Very friendly.More infoRang's Cocina ModernePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Las Vegas•5
- GGerardoLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI don’t know what sorcery goes on behind those kitchen doors, but whatever it is I’m here for it! My wife and I went for a Valentine’s Day lunch date and we were both blown away by the consistency and quality of the seafood here. A little recap; this is one of the first restaurants we went on a date in 4 years ago and the only one she’s been craving since last year. The food is just as we remember it, if not better! We ordered the seafood paella as our main course and had 3 tapas ordered as the paella takes around 45 minutes to make (worth it!!). Pulpo asado. Fried calamari. Pork empanada. Sound simple, but they were far from it! The pulpo asado was so fresh the texture and taste were unlike anything I’ve had before locally. It was accompanied by roasted potatoes and this delicious sauce that just complimented the pulpo so nicely I never wanted it to end. I was expecting hard or crunchy pulpo, but this was different. This was soft, flavorful, perfectly grilled with a beautiful purple and black hue. I think this is my new go-to. The fried calamari was also unlike what I’ve had at other places. Not to sound like a broken record, but you can literally taste the quality in the texture of this dish. It is fried to perfection. The amount of calamari they serve you is also noteworthy. For the end (before the paella arrived) we had the pork empanada. Beautifully split down the middle and drizzled with sauce alongside a salad. It was tastebud heaven. I honestly think we would’ve ordered more had the paella not arrived sooner than expected. The flavors so rich and pork so tender, I’m getting hungry just from writing this. Last but not least we had the paella, which feeds 3-4 people. For us two it was enough with 1/4 portion each. Mussels, jumbo shrimp, clams, calamari, artichoke, roasted tomatoes all on top perfectly seasoned and balanced rice. Better than we remembered it. Skipping to dessert we had the white chocolate banana pudding. The cherry on top. We love itMore infoFirefly Tapas Kitchen + Bar On FlamingoPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Paradise•4.7
- JJean-PierreVIPLas Vegas •54 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoA really nice surprise from a place that we picked almost randomly. We almost turned around as there is no light visible from the outside, but we were glad we didn't. EDO is very small, only a few tables, which adds a dimension of coziness. The staff is VERY attentive and interactive, including the Chef who checked from time to time with the waiting staff to gather reactions to the dishes he served. We gave him a thumb up, which was rewarded by him visiting our table and offering a dessert that was not on the menu (amazing Spanish cake with whiskey). If you want to find a place where you can hear yourself speak, with friendly staff, and superior cuisine, look no further.More infoEDO Gastro Tapas & WinePrice: Expensive• Spanish• Chinatown•4.8
