Best Southern American Restaurants in Occidental

Excellent food, generous portions, outstanding service. We look forward to lunch here every time we come to Santa Rosa.

The food was absolutely delicious. The waitress was excellent and the food came out quickly.

This is a down home kinda restaurant that is very good at what it does. When you're in the mood for Southern (or even Cajun/Creole) cooking, come here! We enjoyed blackened catfish with corn muffins and other delicious sides. Already want to come back to try some of the other sides they offer, hushpuppies, and - for a real indulgence, maybe after a trail race someday - fried chicken and waffles! Our server was warm, patient, and knowledgeable. She seemed to truly enjoy providing Southern hospitality.

Excellent! We had the seafood stew, Shrimp Louie, tomato soup, and cheesy bread. So yummy! Loved the crushed ice in the drinks too.
