5 Stars - Unforgettable Anniversary Experience at Elway's Downtown Denver! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Elway’s in Downtown Denver, and it was an experience we will never forget! We chose to sit in the lounge, which had a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe—perfect for an intimate celebration. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism, but it was Chris, the hostess, who truly made our evening unforgettable. Chris’s hospitality and knowledge were exceptional. She greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel like valued guests from the very start. Throughout the evening, she checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and offered thoughtful recommendations that made our meal even more special. Her suggestion of the Chilean Sea Bass was spot on—it was tender, flaky, and full of flavor, truly one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. While our server, Stacie, was attentive and efficient, it was Chris’s expertise and personal care that truly elevated our experience. She made sure that every detail of our anniversary celebration was perfect, offering a level of service that felt both professional and personal. Whether it was offering wine pairing to her amazing cocktail suggestions, or making us feel like we were the most important people in the room, Chris’s warm, thoughtful hospitality was a true highlight of the evening. Nicolette was an angel when we first walked in and took us to a table but my lil sis wanted to sit next to the window. Nicolette was very kind and understanding and gave us a high top in the bar to wait and have a cocktail. 20 minutes later she sat us at the window!! We had Sam for a waiter who was excellent!! He showed up when we needed him, checked on us after the food was served and described and delivered all of food hot and tasty. We had the east coast oysters to start, chop chop salad for the ladies and lobster bisque for the men. Lamb chops, the seafood special a Chilean sea bass with all kind of things with it, scallops and the grouper. Everyone loved their meal, apps and the in between. We love Ocean Prime and my lil sis from California does too.

We enjoyed the special Christmas dinner. The portions were very generous (we brought home enough for lunch) & very well prepared. The turkey was moist, the ham tender & flavorful. The sweet potatoes were delicious, and the green beans were perfectly crisp tender. The entire visit was most enjoyable.

We attended an event at Boettcher Concert Hall at 6:30 pm, and decided to take advantage of the Happy Hour and have dinner beforehand. The CrackerJax Oysters on the half shell were excellent, as was the Fried New England Calamari with an exceptional dipping sauce. The quality food continued with our main courses. My wife had the Pan Seared Australian Barramundi, and I had the Blue Crab Cacio e Pepe; both dishes were outstanding. Eddie, our server, was very personable and attentive to all our needs, as was the general manager who checked on us three times during the evening.
