Best Seafood Restaurants in Waldo

Really great night at Cooper’s Hawk celebrating a birthday! We were able to get seated early for our reservation and had wonderful service the entire night. Great wine flights, had the meatball app and the food was wonderful! It’s a yearly tradition and will continue to be. Also got a nice birthday treat!

Ocean Prime has now become my new favorite restaurant in KC. From the moment I walked in the door to the when the hostess flawlessly fulfilled my request for a booth to the ambience and special touches on the menu items (shrimp cocktail presented in dry ice!) to the filets that cut like butter. The coffee was presented in a french press and tasted delicious with our peanut butter pie dessert that was so decadent. We were craving another the next day. Our waiter, Jameson took great care of us all evening. This is my 4th time dining here and my husband’s 1st but we will be coming here in the future more often! Highly recommend.

Eddie V's continues to have excellent food across the board, but it is very pricey (expect ~$100 a person before tax and tip for dinner and drinks). However, the staff, ambiance, food and drinks are all top-notch. Great wine menu but no beers on tap if that's your thing. Our waiter recommended the seabass with a side of the crab fried rice and it was outstanding. Also would highly recommend the lemon tart.

Fantastic experience!! Due to a change of plans, we arrived about an hour early for our reservation on Christmas Eve and they were kind enough to accommodate us right away. I also want to mention that we originally booked a standard table but the high top was even better for the views and ambiance. We sat right in front of the most beautiful mahogany bar and got to watch the bartenders climb up and down the super high ladder. The food was all exceptional but the baked pimento cheese tray was to die for. The fresh baked sourdough bread was also phenomenal. We had mostly seafood and everything was delicious.

We dined at McCormick's & Schmick's on December 23rd with a reservation for an anniversary celebration. The meal and service were wonderful! However, we were seated in the back room with no view. With reservations and with advanced notice of a special occasion, we would have expected a table with more ambiance rather than stuck in the back room. There was also a table of 3 (with reservations) that checked in after us, they were seated before us and they were seated in the main front dining area; seems reservations should receive priority seating.
