Walking into The Ruxton feels like stepping into a world of pure opulence. From the warm lighting to the tasteful décor, everything about the atmosphere left me in awe. I also appreciated the music selection, which was refreshingly diverse—and I loved the unexpected twist of hearing some Christian rap in the playlist. Our server, Jordyn, elevated the experience with excellent service and thoughtful recommendations. The Wagyu steak, paired with its rich sauce, was simply outstanding, and the Wagyu sliders did not disappoint either. One of the highlights was the salad, featuring bacon so flavorful it might be the best I’ve ever had. The lobster mac and cheese was solid—maybe not quite at the level of my grandmother’s Southern-style recipe, but still satisfying in its own right. Overall, everything—from the ambiance to the attentive service—made for a wonderful lunch date. Valentine dinner, food was great, wine pairings were extremely well matched. Our server was personable and fun to interact with. Entree was a small steak and a crab cake, no one can beat John Shields when it comes to crabs. Even the sides of roast fingerling potatoes and green beans were outstanding. Restaurant Review: Rusty Scupper – Baltimore, MD (Inner Harbor) My wife and I recently visited Rusty Scupper for the first time on Valentine’s Day, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Service & Atmosphere I had made a 7:30 PM reservation, and we arrived at 7:28 PM. After checking in at the front desk, we walked upstairs, and within 20 seconds, our name was called. The seating process was smooth and well-organized, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Food & Drinks Due to the holiday, the restaurant had a set menu. I ordered the lobster tail, while my wife opted for the lobster tail with an added crab cake. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. The drinks complemented our meal perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Final Thoughts Rusty Scupper delivered excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier seafood. It has definitely earned a spot on my list of restaurants to return to. If you’re looking for a great waterfront dining experience in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this place is a must-visit. Everything about my experience at Rye Street Tavern was perfect! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and warm. Even though the place was busy, we felt like everyone was attentive to us, which really made the evening special. For Valentine’s Day, the filet mignon was absolutely exquisite—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The whole fried chicken hen was a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The crab and artichoke dip was a perfect starter, rich and creamy with just the right balance of flavors. To top it all off, the cappuccino was smooth and comforting, and the wine selection complemented the meal beautifully. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the evening even more enjoyable. A+ all around! Rye Street Tavern has earned a special place in my heart, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for any occasion!

The Prime Ribis the best of the best in Baltimore. The food is incredible. The room is old-school and very elegant, including live piano and sax. We absolutely love Aaron and feel lucky when we get him. There is no one like him. He is so kind, so knowledgeable and just makes our whole experience perfect!!! Love, love The Prime Rib!
