It’s always such a pleasure to dine at Melagrano! Our server was from Italy and was incredibly friendly and helpful with the menu. The food is so fresh and delicious and the portions are generous. My husband had the lamb shank and he said it was one of the best he’s ever had- the meat just fell off the bone! This has been and continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in town.

High value from start to finish. Service was outstanding and the food from a fig salad, grilled oysters, a squash side dish, fried anchovies, skate wings, halibut and a pecan pie topped with chocolate covered vanilla ice cream was first rate. A reasonable wine, beer and cocktail section rounded out the menu. Prices were moderate considering the quality. The good humor and friendliness of staff were notable as well. A very enjoyable experience.

This was my first experience at Barclay Prime. It was my son's birthday and I wanted to take him to a special place. This was very special. Both my son and I really enjoyed our experience here. The food was phenomenal, the quality and the way it was prepared were amazing. The selections were plentiful without being overwhelming and the staff were very welcoming. I felt it was well worth the money.

I had reached out to the General Manager, Mr. Blackmon several weeks in advance to inquire about having a discontinued menu item available for our table. He was very accommodating and when we arrived we were assured that it was prepared for us. I want to thank him for his assistance in making our evening especially special. The service, as always, was very special. Very attentive but not hovering. We never felt rushed and we were left to enjoy the company of everyone at our table. Our table greatly enjoyed several of the appetizers and our menu selections were done perfectly. We had an excellent evening and again, thanks to Mr. Blackmon and his staff!
