- AAngelaVIPNew Jersey •20 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were greeted by the host when we arrived in a very friendly manner he acknowledged that it was our anniversary and that we wanted a private table away from everyone else which was given to us. Our waiter was very good and attentive. I thought the prices were a bit high. The onion soup was underwhelming tasted kind of bland. The mixed vegetables were closer to raw than they were till al dente other than that the meal was excellent nice big helping of potatoes in large portions of the meat that would be enough for my dinner tonight and my lunch tomorrow and probably even a little left over after that the salad was a standard salad with blue cheese, and it was an additional charge for the salad the onion straws were excellent. Service moved along it just the right pace. We were too full to order dessert. The only thing that I did not like is that if you wanted to use a charge card or debit card, there was a 3% charge to do so I think it’s a great place for special occasions. It was a bit noisy in the dining room, even though it wasn’t that crowded I could hear all the people Speaking in their conversations, even though we were in a back corner by ourselves. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend it for anyone celebrating something special. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy and abundant.More infoFresco Italian Steak & Seafood GrillPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Brunswick•4.8

- DDonnamarieVIPNew York City •14 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 2, 2022Red Lobster South Plainfield, NJ is a good choice! We ordered two very good meals, the Seafarer's Feast and the Mariner's Feast (both in the $30.00 price range.) One platter was Fried Shrimp, grilled Maine Lobster tail, Garlic Shrimp, and a skewer of 4 fantastic scallops. The other was Fried Shrimp, the skewer of scallops, and Salmon topped with Langostino sauce. Each came with a choice of two sides and the Cheddar Bay biscuits. Our choices were garden salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was very good! Our waiter was new but very concerned about doing a good job; he checked with us several times, and I also heard him asking another customer if his cocktail had come out the way he requested. That customer was also very satisfied and joked with the server. Another server who recognized us (I was surprised by that), came over just to ask how our grandchildren were doing because she remembered their photos from a previous visit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only real drawback to most of the Red Lobster chain is the somewhat dated decor. I can live with that.More infoRed Lobster - South PlainfieldPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Woodbridge•4
