- JJaniceArgyll •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had lunch with three friends today in Ardnamurchan. Four of us had the venison stew and one had the vegetarian option; stuffed hispi cabbage. Both dishes were excellent and the clean plates said it all. Three of us shared a bottle of Australian Shiraz which was pleasant but not quite as robust as we’d hoped for to complement the venison. Desserts were delicious; cranachan, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate cremeaux and the cheese was enjoyed by one of our friends. As one friend is quite deaf we found the booth we sat in gave us reasonable privacy and he was able to hear the conversation easily. The girls who served us were great; friendly, pleasant and efficient. My husband and I always enjoy meals at Ardnamurchan and were happy to introduce friends to it.More infoArdnamurchanPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Glasgow•4.7

- FFraserEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe arrived early and had a cocktail at the bar. The bartender was helpful and chatty and we had a great start to the meal with some lovely drinks. We weren’t rushed from the bar and were shown our table. We were given water and plenty of time to review the menu and make our decisions. The food was lovely and drinks were good too. Service was friendly and professional and we at no time felt rushed. This is one of our favourite restaurants and it fully met our expectations again today.More infoMonteithsPrice: Expensive• Scottish• The Royal Mile•4.6
