Best Pizza Bars in Baldwin Hills

We went to Jemma in Hollywood after seeing a matinee show at the Pantages. We’ve never been here before and picked it as it was so close to the theater. We’ll definitely come back tho! The menu is limited but the food was very good! The broccolini with feta cheese was the star for sure-so delicious! We also got the Frankie (?) pizza and the jalapeño peppers gave it a tasty bite! The staff were all friendly and professional and even the manager who chatted with us was very personable! Couple that with the beautiful and subdued decor and you have a winning experience! We’ll be back!

Food is excellent as well as plentiful. Service is unrushed but extremely good. Staff very engaging and friendly. My only quibble: Wine corkage is too high for a neighborhood restaurant. I would rather pay more for my food and not be peanalized because I prefer my own wine.

Superfine brunch with kids: breakfast burrito was rated “very tasty,” as were the burger (“this is huge!”), fried chicken sandwich (“very good”), and the kids’ chicken fingers with fries (“these are like *fancy* chicken fingers!”). I had the farro with roasted vegetables and it was tasty and filling - I had enough for leftovers. As for the 4 kids I brought - all plates were clean at the end of the meal! Great atmosphere to chill on the weekend. Football games were on for those interested but kids were fine hanging out and able to run around outside at Runway when they needed to.

Great time as always for a Bills game! Staff does their best with the amount of people that are there.

Made a reservation to watch the MSU Homecoming game vs. Michigan. They made arrangements on the rooftop to watch the game while the World Series was being played down stairs. Food was great and so was the vibe.
