Best Oyster Bars in Potomac

We are frequent customers and appreciate the friendly service and great food. Our server successfully orchestrated delivery of a great martini and oysters at the same time.

I loved this restaurant. Will definitely return. Went for a date night before a show. It was fully booked. Noise level was moderate. Not loud but not quiet either. Didn’t have to scream my order to the server. Food was excellent and so were the cocktails. My only negative is the dress code. I wished they didn’t allow athletic wear - tshirts, sweatpants, hoodies; a collared shirt dress code should be enforced. Being a 5 star restaurant, the attire of the patrons should also be of 5 star standard.

The third recent meal at Black Bar & Kitchen, and this one also was excellent. My big, juicy burger nailed it - great meat, cooked perfectly (medium rare), fresh onion slice and crispy fries! My wife’s Branzino was well-seasoned and very fresh and tasty. We love the bar and high top table area - more fun than the dining room for couples. Wine’s were pricey- $17-$20 / glass - except for the delightful Malbec - just $9! I had two glasses at that price. Black’s keeps us coming Back!

We love it here. Christmas Eve dinner was wonderful relaxing experience.
