- RRonGreater Boston •16 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 16, 2025This was I think my fourth visit to POB in East Greenwich. It is bright and airy and the staff is very warm and welcoming. They have one of the most varied selections of Rhode Island oysters in the Washington and South County areas, and the staff can tell you where each variety is from. A varied menu with something for everyone! One of my keepers for sure!More infoProvidence Oyster Bar - East GreenwichPrice: Expensive• Seafood• East Greenwich•4.7
- GGaryRhode Island •4 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 11, 2025We met up with a childhood friend of mine and his girlfriend for a wonderful lunch on a snowy Saturday afternoon. The host greeted us with enthusiasm, and our waiter was a pro. We never felt rushed… there’s a lot to catch up on after 50 years! The food was absolutely delicious, and our table was in a wonderful spot overlooking the bay and the gentle snowfall. It’s hard to imagine a better Saturday afternoon in Newport. We even celebrated our waiter’s recent US Citizenship after living here for 20 years. It was awesome!More infoThe Mooring RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Newport•4.7
- MMichaelGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024Christmas Eve dinner. Festive, lively atmosphere without being too loud for easy conversation. Service was excellent, beginning with the accommodation of a late addition guest. Staff was there for every need and question yet never made us feel rushed—even though our meal went past closing. I expected great food and was not disappointed. Oysters were particularly good and French-pressed coffee always adds a great finishing touch. My teenagers had a great time and have a new appreciation for real food. Highly recommend.More infoHemenway'sPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Providence•4.9

Very sad that we have to wait til March Madness for another meal. Bristol Oyster Bar is now closed til mid March!More infoBristol Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Bristol•4.7
