Excellent Irish produce, cooked imaginatively with first class technique. We had the taste of Ireland menu, which was well balanced and very well paced. As a lover of seafood the standout course was the crispy oyster with brandade. The Clonakilty black pudding deserves a mention as well, It was wrapped in potato and cooked perfectly. We didn’t have the wine flight but the wines by the glass were excellent. Service was attentive but not intrusive, the sommelier provided just the right amount of guidance and background information on the wines and the wine’s producers.

Food and service was excellent. Even accommodated our son when he walked in on his way home from school.

We had a fantastic meal at Upstairs and can’t wait to come back. Our waiter Jack was fabulous & further his awareness of allergens was spot on and really put me at ease as a coeliac. Thank you so much!

Delightful people in a lovely setting. The food is not only fantastic for those with allergies or alternative diets but is just really well executed and delicious. I had veggie fried chicken which was brilliantly done with oyster mushrooms and the crispiest batter ever.
