Best Modern European Restaurants in Tynemouth

Had a gourmet experience (bought as a Christmas present for hubby). Wow! Cocktails fab, nibbles amazing, starters and mains incredibly generous. Desert one of the best ever (treacle tart). No room for our cheese course so staff kindly said we could have it next time we visit. Service here is always exemplary and having familiar faces to serve us is a bonus.

All round excellent, lovely cheerful greeting, good choice of tables. Food exceeded expectations. Minor issue corrected without drama. Young lady serving was brilliant, a credit to the restaurant. Very reasonable fixed price menu , enough options without being overwhelming. Lovely experience, second time been recently and will be back.

Second time I have dined here, but the first for Sunday Lunch and it was fabulous yet again! Service is very efficient and yet friendly. Menu has plenty of choice. I am vegetarian and it is one of the BEST Sunday Lunches I have had, so tasty! My Son had the Turkey and my Mam the Lamb, both cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were big, good selection of well cooked vegetables. The Yorkshire puddings were enormous and the gravy was delicious. We were too full to manage a dessert and thankfully we didn't have a starter. We were well looked after and will definitely be returning.

Superb evening, the food was outstanding and the waitress was friendly, incredibly attentive and very knowledgeable. It was a lovely surprise to receive an anniversary card as well, a fantastic touch.

Our waiter, Jordan, in Jozef’s restaurant was oustanding. Very welcoming and friendly, gave excellent service. We’ll be back again.
