- AAlbertoLondon •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoGreat food, great service. I’ve been in plimsoll before because their burger. I couldn’t come back with some friends to let them try it too. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! Thank you guys!More infoThe PlimsollPrice: Expensive• Pub• Highbury•4.8
- SSarahLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 7, 2024Loved this place, the staff are super friendly and attentive but not “in your face”. It is indeed a grand café, more of a grand brasserie. Can highly recommend the nibbles, beautifully served warm bread, hot padron peppers and superb iberico ham. Fab wines and really lovely mains. Even the espresso was spot on. Well done the Brush, we had a great birthday celebration for my husband. We didn’t try the cocktails but the mixologist was creating a range for staff training purposes and they looked amazing. Next time….More infoThe Brush Grand CaféPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Shoreditch•4.5
