- LLindaSan Diego •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe just had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at RB Inn. The food was excellent, service was great! Everyone working at the RB Inn greeted us and wished us a Happy Thanksgiving . The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a walk around. RB Inn is our place to enjoy special occasions and also a relaxing lunch or dinner with our out town guests. Guests always ask if we can all go back to the RB Inn next time they visit.More infoVeranda Fireside Lounge & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.6

- HHamiltonvipSan Diego •11 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 22, 2024Man, I noticed a few bad reviews for this place but we totally disagree. This is a cool, smaller restaurant attached to the Hotel Valencia. It has a nice u-shaped bar with what seemed to be mostly locals hanging out talking with the staff. Upscale vibe but not "stuffy" La Jolla vibe. The cocktails were amazing and fairly creative. We also thought the food was excellent, contrary to what a few other folks have said. The braised short rib Mao, crispy pumpkin squash, and twinkie ceaser were the standouts. Only minor downsides were that you can smell the seals a little bit and it was a bit chilly inside, as the door was kept open. Overall we really enjoyed our experience.More infoThe Whaling BarPrice: Expensive• Californian• La Jolla•4.5
