- SSheldonFort Lauderdale •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoJan 10 was their inaugural evening and I must say the food, ambiance, and the staff were great and most of all very well trained. The food choices and portions were perfect, flavors delightfully unique, and surrounding decor was like a Hollywood movie. Angelo, our waiter couldn’t have been more pleasurable and knowledgeable. Eduard our host was most welcoming and checked in with us just enough to be sure our every desire was met. As yachters wintering in Ft Lauderdale, we will be certain to visit Sotogrande again.More infoSotograndePrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Harbor Beach•5

We sat in the swing room with a beautiful view of the river (but someone please clean those windows to fully maximize the views!) Food was very tasty with large portions - location and portion size justified the slightly pricey menu. Very friendly service. PERFECT after seeing a matinee at the Broward - a pleasant five minute walk along the river from the theater.More infoThe House on the RiverPrice: Expensive• American• Sailboat Bend•4.3

Nestled in a picturesque location, the restaurant offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement its delightful Mediterranean menu. Whether you’re seated indoors or on the patio, you’re treated to sweeping sights of canal that make every moment special. The food was a highlight. From the fresh, zesty salads to the perfectly grilled meats and seafood, every dish was bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors. The ambiance is relaxed yet refined, making it ideal for both casual gatherings and special occasions. The staff were attentive and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the experience. If you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine and appreciate dining with a view, olive and sea is a must-visit.
