- CClaraGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined todayExpensive but really great restaurant. Enter to a huge , chic, family style restaurant. Table for 20, table for two, open kitchen and lamb roasting on the flame. Chic but not intimidating. Warm and cozy. You will enter another universe, close to downtown SF. Food is really great, instantly making you travel in the Mediterranean sea. The food is simple but it’s working really well.More infoKokkari EstiatorioPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.9

- BBrandonToronto / Ontario •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe ambiance was great, however there was a noticeable delay between our starters and entrees coming out. We ordered oysters - which were fresh, baked cheese and warmed olives, and the focaccia was deliciously herby. Swordfish, duck, and two steak frites were ordered as mains, all arrived together however the fries were dry and cold (as compared to the steak on the same plate). Overall the food and drinks were delicious.More infoForeign CinemaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Mission District•4.8
- JJimSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWhat a hidden gem...at least it was for us. We reserved the day before for prime time (7:30) and had no difficulty. We had a party of four and shared a number of small plates and a couple of entrees, which was plenty for us. The Dolmas were terrific, a great choice for a well known Med dish. But be sure to try some unusual ones...Borek, Artichoke Beignets, Roasted Prawns, and Roasted Cauliflower. The Whole Branzino was amazing! Lightly tart, buttery texture, crispy skin. Two bottles of wine, so we were feeling pretty good! Their staff was a delight...interested and engaged. All of Mediterranean origin, so we drew them into a game of "Where are you from." Our server was a young Kurdish woman, and our wine person was from Turkey. We really enjoyed them. All in all, a terrific experience. We'll go back. See you there!More infoBistro EmberPrice: Moderate• Fusion / Eclectic• Noe Valley•4.6
- AAmitvipSan Francisco Bay Area •73 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024We went early to take advantage of Happy Hour and sat in the lounge area. It's fairly quiet as most of their business is around lunch. It's certainly the best appointed restaurant in South San Francisco that we've been to. The food and service were good and it's nice to get something a bit different - Palestinian.More infoAmoura RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• South San Francisco•4.8
