Best Latin American Restaurants in University Hills

Great night at Mister Oso. 8 of us and we loved everything we tried. Brussels, coconut shrimp tacos, coconut rice were a favorite and of course the birra and mojo tacos were a hit too. Margs were great too and our server Jesus was fantastic.

Man, such deep flavors! We had the ceviche - so unique with a coconut cream base topped with cilantro and chile oils, the Tamal Oaxaqueno, the Hoja de Santo wrapped queso, and the pork belly. Everything was prepared excellently and each sauce and flavor palette interesting, complex and delightful! The fresh Tamal and tortillas were light and delicious!! Also, our server, Sara, was fun, attentive and informative. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes, as they are all unique and beg to be tasted!

Delicious Latin American and Spanish influences in neighborhood-find type Latin atmosphere. Plan to return often.

I thought the food was excellent and portions were very good. I’ll definitely be back.

Food was great, drinks good, server great without being smarmy. My friends really liked it, too, but got super noisy and really hard to converse or even hear the server.
