Best Korean Restaurants in Kensington

Great environment and delicious food! We came here to celebrate a bday and the staff were very accommodating and celebratory. Always checked on us to make sure we were okay, and even proactively changed our hot plate for us. Food was also delicious! Quite pricey but worth the price.

Absolutely delicious food in a historic-meets-modern ambiance that’s nice without feeling stuffy. The efficient and friendly service shines and a menu is delicious and inventive while still feeling reasonably priced (especially considering the increases you see at many other places in town). All in all a wonderful experience!

The space is so cozy and warm feeling when you walk up the stairs and it opens up into the restaurant space. You're greeted by the staff the a view of the kitchen right as you get to the top of the stairs. We were a party of 3 (two adults and our child in tow) and had the set dinner menu for the evening. Can't remember it all but we had the beet salad, kimchi sui mai (dumplings), bulgogi and pork tenderloin, sauteed mushrooms (portabello, oyster, shittake and other), a variety of banchan (side dishes), SOT rice (brussel sprouts and garlic) and finished off with the rice "creme brulee" and black sesame earl grey tiramisu. It was quite a lot of food and we had to pack some of it home. The food was excellent in flavour and presentation. The service was top notch. Our server was very attentive and replaced our used cutlery and plates almost after every dish. Definitely coming back to try the other menu items.
