- KKristenPhiladelphia County •35 reviews5.0Dined todayMy husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon. We had an incredible time. Most of it was due to our server Adam giving us a great experience. He brought us champagne to celebrate and walked us through the menu. The food was incredible. We had the fish carpaccio and pork gyoza to start. We got the soft shelf crab roll and spicy tuna roll. The surf and turf roll was well worth the money and loved the table side presentation. Finished up the mains with the sea bass. For dessert we had the mousse Mauna and the ube cheesecake, which came out with a happy honeymoon inscription in chocolate. Every food runner was delightful, happy and had a great description of the food they were bringing out. A truly wonderful evening. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you again Adam!More infoMorimoto - MauiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Wailea•4.4
- VVladimirHawaii •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWas curious to try out Komo since it’s the newest restaurant in Wailea. Started off with the miso soup; unique flavor and different from others I’ve had elsewhere. Vegetables in the soup were cooked nicely. Tried the duck tsukune next. Best way to describe or compare it to was a duck meatball. Wasn’t gamey at all but the added foie gras seemed a little underwhelming or just didn’t have as much of a presence; I wouldn’t have known there was foie gras without reading its description. Asked the host prior to seating what the most popular item was and he recommended the Mystery Box, a 10 piece nigiri set done omakase style with it being chefs choice of cuts to send. The nigiri were beautiful and the fish tasted fresh and clean. Komo’s house-made soy sauce was also really nice and not as salty as other soy sauces. Ended the night with desserts; ordered the Hoseki Baki Jewel Box. Presented in a glass (maybe plastic?) see through box, 4 mini desserts laid inside. Contained Matcha Raspberry Roulade, Hibiki Chocolate Torte, Strawberry Sake Cheesecake, Yuzu Cremeux Tart. All of the desserts were wonderful flavor and texture wise. Although they may look small, the Jewel Box was enough for the 2 of us.More infoKOMOPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Wailea•4.7

Menu covers some very savory ground with lots of cuisine options from sushi to fish & chips with a great pub burger and more, most likely something for everyone. Will go again anytime we’re in central Kihei. Thumbs-up.More infoThree's Bar & GrillPrice: Moderate• Pan-Asian• Kihei•4.6
