- MMichaelChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoSecond time here and it needs to be much sooner before our third visit and beyond... The food, as expected, was exceptional; the seasonal offerings were a delight to go through and the omakase did not disappoint. Even the uni was delightful, and I've never enjoyed that any other time I've tried it. The sake offerings were great and I have a new producer to dive into after having a flight. What a wonderful way to spend an anniversary and introduce others to the experience!More infoMorimotoPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Center City•4.7
- EEricvipLondon •14 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024We had a 12-piece Omakase dinner, served to a total of 10 people by two chefs. The “experience” was terrific, and the chef was very informative and entertaining. The food was great, with some interesting types of sushi that we’d never had before. The food was prepared well and we were given information about it to make it more than just eating 12 small pieces of fish (I should say 11 pieces of fish and one piece of steak topped with sea urchin). It’s not cheap, and you need to factor this in to the decision about whether to go here, but if you’re looking for a great place for sushi with a different approach to serving it, I highly recommend it. This is our second time going there and we’ll be going back.More infoSushi by Bou - Fishtown PA @ Izakaya FishtownPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Fishtown•4.7
- AAlexisPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024Made a reservation for a birthday party, server was phenomenal, staff was very kind, restaurant was clean and food was awesome. Great assortment of options for a group with mixed dietary restrictions and allergies. Also server made sure to bring back cooler bag and all the cold packs I had brought with the cake at the end of our meal. Great time had by entire group.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Philadelphia, PA | Logan Square (The Granary)Price: Moderate• Japanese• Art Museum•4.8
- JJasonPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 8, 2024We had an amazing outdoor seating experience at Timo. We love the BYOB option and enjoyed all the creative sushi roll options. The presentation and flavor of our picks were incredible. Huge kudos to the host as he handled a drunken customer situation to perfection. He not only stayed calm, but he brought the customer outside and attempted to help him order for several minutes before offering him different dining options nearby. At the end when the drunken man (at 7 pm) walked away he cursed at the host. The host stayed professional and returned to work with no questions or retort to the drunk. I really hope the host is shown this review and congratulated on his skill and work ethic!More infoTomo Sushi & RamenPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Old City•4.8
