Best Japanese Restaurants in Elmhurst

Indulgent, and we’re very glad to have treated ourselves. We selected omakase, and only had to decide what to drink. The evening proceeded smoothly, and we left three hours later, like the cat that caught the mouse.

AMAZING!!! Food 10/10 Customer Service 100/100 EVERY staff member was polite and knowledgeable of the menu. This was my First time dining here and I have not one complaint!! I Will definitely visit again, and again and again!!!!!!

Have always wanted to go to Benihana. I lived in Japan for 6 years so am a fan of tepanyaki. My husband and I chose seating in the bar area since it was just the two of us. We were seated in a quiet, intimate area next to windows overlooking the snow covered Japanese garden. Beautiful view despite the urban setting! We selected meals from the specialties section of the menu - excellent value for what you get: grilled filet mignon, veggies, shrimp, lobster with soup, salad, green tea and sherbet! The food was fantastic! Grilled to perfection with ginger and garlic sauce and a mustard sauce for added umami. Delicious! You don’t have to be seated at the communal grill with a view of the chef for an excellent meal. Can’t wait to go back!!

Finally got a reservation here 🙌🏽 And oh was it it worth it! We sat at the counter and got to see the magic happen. Ramen Lord himself even brought us our ramen which was pretty neat. Definitely will be fighting for another reservation to try the variations of ramen they introduce throughout the year. Shoutout to Mo, our server, for his kindness and cool demeanor.

We had sushi and all of us enjoyed it. Our waiter Jack was attentive and helpful.
