Best Japanese Restaurants in Chester Springs

Met my mom and brother at 6:30 for dinner on a Tuesday the week before Thanksgiving. Even though it was a weeknight I highly recommend having a reservation and get there early because parking  takes a while.  we had a really great server who was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some tips.  we ended up, ordering the spring rolls and steamed dumplings as an appetizer.  and shrimp pad, Thai spicy chicken, stone pot and a sweet beef stone pot as our entrées.  we were too full to get dessert. This is my fifth visit to Kooma in the last couple of years and it never disappoints.

First time patron. Both my wife and I like sushi and asian foods. Greeted immediately and pleasantly; found our reservation via OT promptly. Cozy venue not too loud very crowded. Very good service, food came promptly. Excellent dumplings! Tom Yum soup was a spur of the moment choice but awesome. Wife had chicken with garlic dish; very reasonable portion. I had 2 maki rolls which were excellent. Wasabi seemed less potent that I am accustomed to. BYOB place so no drinks. $75 for 2 with a 25% tip. Would definitely go again!

Sushi was fantastic! Tasted very fresh. However, the seafood stone Bimimbap was different this time; no greens and a bit salty.

Great sushi and appetizers. They put a very nice portion of fish in their special and standard rolls. Wasabi Shumai was great as were the oysters. Very pleasant and attentive staff.

Beautiful room with great table spacing. Friendly staff. Food was fantastic. We shared a few sushi rolls and one antre which was more than enough for us. We brought our own wine which helps keep prices reasonable and well worth the value. Make a reservation!
