Best Izakayas in Ala Moana

Casual fun dining. It’s basically food for drinking but you can have a very nice family dinner here as well. White bright clean interior- doesn’t feel like a “bar” Menu is Ala carte so may choose from a wide assortment of different categories. They have restaurant recommendations but so far everything i have tried is very good. My favs include crab avocado bacon salad, assorted tempura, yakisoba, miso butterfish.

A creative mix of traditional and local ingredients creating a great combination of flavors. Very attentive and pleasant staff made this an enjoyable experience.

This is kind hidden place to eat good Japanese food. Actually inside Japanese food market. All fishes are so fresh and very reasonable‼️ I order one omakase sushi and few A la carte. They thought we share, so cut 2 pieces. I wasn’t that hungry, so I couldn’t order that much. I must go back soon because I wanted try more different food, too😋 2 Japanese lady servers are very kind and friendly. They treat us as family💓

Absolutely Outstanding! (I don’t say this much about any restaurants.) We showed up yesterday evening a bit early for our reservation and I guess there was some mix up with other reservations, so there was no table available for us. But the manager, Chloe, literally jumped and ran into action. She cleared a space in the back, which is usually used for storage, and in less than 10 minutes we had a little private area perfectly seating the 4 of us. She did this all with a smile. Exceptional service. Everything we ordered tasted amazing.

Great food, service, and value. Hidden gem, interesting location, charming atmosphere, comfortable and cozy. Did the Steak and Seafood pre-fix menu experience, and it was excellent! Great value; highly recommend 👌 it.
