Best Italian Restaurants in Warrenville

Our entire dining experience at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Naperville, on Saturday evening (1/11/25), was outstanding from start to finish. We had a reservation for 6:30pm, and we were seated within several minutes of checking in. The manager that greeted me at the host stand was friendly, professional, and welcoming. We had a preference for a booth noted in the Open Table app, and the gentleman acknowledged and honored our request for booth seating. Great ambiance, classy decor and design inside. Our server, Luis, was exceptional. He was friendly, funny, and helpful at answering a few questions about the menu, and was on point with his timing and service throughout our meal. Everything was very well-paced, not rushed, for a relaxing meal. Luis was perfectly observant and prompt with drink refills and clearing dishes out of the way during the meal. We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, which were delicious. Luis also brought us a basket of fresh, crusty bread with olive oil and Parmesan cheese to start. Each of our entrees were excellent. I ordered the chicken francese, served with crispy vesuvio potatoes and asparagus. It was very flavorful. I believe it was in a lemon butter sauce, which was delicious. My wife had the rigatoni alla vodka with crumbled Italian sausage. She enjoyed it very much. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, and the sauce was very flavorful. My daughter ordered the rigatoni D with chicken and sautéed button mushrooms. She raved about how good it tasted. The sauce is very creamy and delicious. We wanted to save room for dessert, so we saved about half of our generously portioned meals to be boxed up. We took home enough leftovers to enjoy for dinner at home the next day. For dessert, we shared a huge slice of chocolate layered cake and the creme brulee. The chocolate cake was awesome. Rich, moist, and sweet but not too rich. The creamy, creme brulee had a nicely carmelized crust. Very enjoyable experience!

My wife and I had dinner here with our daughter and son-in-law on a Saturday night. The ambience is fantastic in the old brownstone building. Our waitress, Margo, was wonderful. Very attentive without being overbearing. I had the linguine agli scampi. It was flavorful and served at the perfect temperature. All in all a great experience, and we’ll be back soon.

This is a very nice trendy, high quality change from typical red sauce italian. Creative dishes, limited wine list, very good service until they got very busy. They are willing to change or”customize “ any dish to suit the customer. For me, I had a linguine dish that was to have shrimp and scallops. Not bad. But because I like mussels they swapped out the shrimp and scallops for the mussels. Nice place. We’ll go back.

Fantastic experience on my first visit. Katie, our server, was very friendly and took good care of us. the food was amazing and looked as good as it tasted. Will be back soon to try the Detroit-style pizzaa.

Our dining experience was absolutely fabulous. Chef Liam pays such keen attention to detail and adds his special flair to each dish to make the flavors intertwine with such synergy, that we thoroughly savored the entire meal. Vito was very knowledgable in assisting us with selecting a delightful wine to pair with our meal, and the wait staff were attentive and gracious in every way. Thank-you to the entire CHE FiGATA team for such a memorable and special evening!
