- KKevinNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFood is as as usual expertly prepared On our visit so-called mission figs appetizer were not indeed mission figs (they’re black; this one was brown) and frankly a little stingy. There were four quarters of a tiny brown fig spread across a bed of about 10 arugula leaves, two large sugar encrusted walnut chunks and 3 large lumps of ricotta. Really. Just 1 fig cut into quarters. Not sure what the problem was, but if the kitchen stock was low, why not just take them off the menu until availability improved. Anyway, just a disappointment We had an early reservation since the noise level here can be problematic. Nevertheless the waitress seemed too tired to be at work that late afternoon. Normally we have great experiences here.More infoPeppercorns GrillPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hartford•4.7

The low to reasonably moderate noise level made for easy conversation. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.More infoMax A Mia - AvonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Avon•4.7

Come in for Sunday and Monday 1/2 priced wine. Also, the happy hour is not to be missed.More infoMercato Italian Kitchen & Bar - CantonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Canton•4.6

- AAliciaConnecticut •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 30, 2025The food overall was delicious and ample portions. The fried feta although tasty, it was not spectacular and seemed too much dough and not enough feta taste. Croquettes were delicious with a spectacular sauce. Creamy Chicken with Risotto was spectacular. The Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with Carmel sauce topped with candied bacon was absolutely out of this world and knocked it out of the park!More infoLa FigataPrice: Moderate• Italian• Granby•4.4
