Best Italian Restaurants in Potomac

Food and service was very good, I would have rated higher but I don’t like having my tip determined for me, also feel they can do better than tap water and canned soda.

Filomena has always been our go-to restaurant, and it never fails to exceed our expectations. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance that sets the tone for an incredible dining experience. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious—each dish crafted with care and bursting with flavor. What truly elevated our evening was the outstanding service we received from Nebil. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine friendliness made us feel truly valued as guests. Nebil anticipated our needs effortlessly, provided thoughtful recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s rare to encounter such exceptional service, and it made an already great meal even more memorable. Filomena, once again, proved why it remains our favorite dining spot!

Great experience as always. Caesar provided fantastic and attentive service. The food was reliably delicious. The only slight drawback is the noise level which I would describe as overly lively. Patrons and staff were all trying to talk over the music. Perhaps a notch down on music to just make it lively. Thanks, North Italia.

Terrific dining out experience all around. Very busy scene. We were seated promptly, water and bread services immediately. Wine order taken shortly thereafter. We split the pear salad, which they divided for us. We both enjoyed our entrees very much. I had the little necks over linguine. My wife enjoyed the appetizer mussels. We were surprised at the end with a delicious cannoli on the house! All in all we give this restaurant a top rating. We’ll be back!

Had lunch with friends on a weekday (Friday). Service and food were excellent. Our pasta dishes were freshly made and the staff did not make us feel rushed to leave as we stayed long after finishing our meal to talk. Definitely will be returning to the restaurant.
