Best Italian Restaurants in North Haven

Great food and service. What a little gem L’Orcio is. Always dependable.

My husband and I love eating here and the food was amazing as always.

our 1st brunch at Gioia & of course it didn’t disappoint. So many great dishes it’s hard to choose - so we got a lot - haha. Must try’s - Cacio e pepe scrambled eggs, the Breakfast Sandwich, Eggs Benedict. They had a beef checks hash special - if they have it - GET IT! so much more to try across their menus - we’ll be back.

Came here for my husbands birthday and was so impressed. We don’t get out often, but im so happy we came. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, staff was warm and welcoming, food was wonderful! They even had a pianist playing music and singing which was a really nice touch. He played everything from Billy Joel to Elton John to Frank Sinatra. He even started off with “fly me to the moon” which ironically was our wedding song. It was tasteful and classy, not disruptive. The wait staff was attentive and our glasses never got near empty. The atmosphere was so relaxing. We were able to have a conversation. We started with the eggplant tower which was amazing, and they even brought us a complementary bruschetta app while we waited. I had the jumbo shrimp and scallop dinner, which was wonderful. My husband has the surf and turf, which he thought was tasty and well done. I also think for the ambiance and the food quality as well as the service, the price was also fair. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to coming back whenever we have the chance to get a night out again!

Delicious food, outstanding service! Drinks were perfect. We made reservations for Christmas Eve and La Piazza did NOT disappoint!! It was a bit chilly inside and somewhat of a tight squeeze with seating. But we overlooked those and had a wonderful meal.
