Best Italian Restaurants in New Tampa

My boyfriend and I took my sister here because we heard this restaurant is amazing. It is better than amazing! Everything was so great and we really enjoyed the parm to table experience. The steak was cooked perfectly and the whipped potatoes were to die for. Definitely need to try this place if you haven’t!

Our party of 4 had a great experience (as usual) last night. Our reservation was honored right on time and our server (Sarah) was outstanding in every way. Each appetizer - pizzette, mushrooms, crab cakes - was delicious. The entrees were also very good - seafood special cod with macadamia nut sauce and crab meat, ahi tuna bowl, pasta, and salmon. The only nit was that our booth was at the edge of the bar area and it was very noisy, especially the live entertainment. We will continue to return on a regular basis!

We loved our pasta dishes. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled fantastic. Dessert of tiramisu wonderful, and definitely shareable. Waiter was late with our bread and had to ask for water refill, so not a 5.

Quality Foods is an experience and an education. If you saw it from the outside you would think it’s a pizzeria that you can just drop in for a quick bite. If you just walked in off the street you might be confused because half of the place is storage for wine and food. There are only about four tables available inside. But the reason we would go back is the experience. We were almost full before dinner. We had fantastic bread & olive oil/balsamic, caprese salad and tomato bisque. So by the time our pasta came, we could barely eat half of it. But it was amazing. I ate the tastiest scallop I’ve ever had in my life. My husband had the ragu pasta and was also in love. Again, it’s an experience that Chef Chris personally guides each guest through by talking to everyone multiple times. He’s a very proud chef and owner and we see why now.

Overall a wonderful experience. Went on Christmas Eve, the bread and roasted garlic with olive oil was amazing. We tried the fra diavlo, pasta brava, and crostata. The groups consensus was that the pasta brava was the best. Great wine and service was on point. Will definitely come again.
