Best Italian Restaurants in Hockessin

Very good menu, food very good. Enough for doggy bags! Prices reasonable. The only downside was our server. Spoke very fast, never made eye contact. Just too busy! Rattled though the specials and was gone before you could ask anything. The best, he would stop and ask how the meals are you look up and he was gone. A robot could have been better. It's not like the place was crowded at 5:30 pm.

Dinner was excellent as always. Had the ribeye and it was the best steak that I ever had. Grandkids were excited watching them make the Caesars Salad at the table. The salad alone was enough for a meal.

Excellent server, Lalo. We were impressed that special requests or adjustments to any item was no problem. Highly recommend.

I liked when I made the reservation there was an area to write a request. I asked for a quiet area because we all used to work together and two of our girls' husbands died. We hadn't seen each other since then. Our table area was quiet, and we cried and laugh without disturbing anyone. Eventually we ate and the waitress was very kind and understanding when it took us a while to stop talking and read the menu. She even took our picture. It was the first time for all of us to be there which was great because it didn't bring up memories of past diners with the husband. We all loved what we had and brought some home. I had the crab cake salad, and the crabs were just right. We shall eat there again. Thank you.

Loved the food, and our waitress was so kind! The atmosphere is fabulous cozy and intimate. The salmon with creamy asparagus and chic pea was one of the best I had.
