Best Italian Restaurants in Desert Hot Springs

Noel’s recommendation of the Burrata Salad was the beginning of an excellent meal. If you are not up for a pasta dish, the Risotto Primavera and Risotto Verde were tasty and perfectly cooked. I recommend the homemade cannoli for dessert. The filling was not too sweet, and the shell was crispy as it should be. Noel, thank you again for your attentiveness and recommendations.

Wonderful dining experience - AGAIN! This lovely family owned and operated establishment exudes the spirit and history of Palm Springs. The dishes are tasty and reasonably priced, and the cocktails are generous. The wine list has a full price range of delightful options. Whether "dressed up" or "desert casual," all guests are welcomed with open arms, warmth, and enthusiasm. Predictably one of the most friendly fine dining restaurants in the Coachella Valley.

This is our fourth time at Sammy G's and we love it. Never had a mediocre meal. Food is always excellent. Service is excellent. We live in Palm Deset, so it's always an effort to go, but we always have a wonderful meal. They have a special sunset meal fit $29.95, from Monday to Thursday. The four of us had delicious meals off the lighter menu. We will go back again, once the snowbirds have departed.

Good was excellent and the menu had many choices. Classic Northern Italian choices. As a woman, I would have appreciated a less-sexist server. He looked to my partner for the order, served him first, asked him what he wanted, etc. I was practically non-existent as a customer—clearly it was all about “the man at the table”. I recommend that the management discuss this with their staff. I paid the bill and tipped appropriately, but was not happy.
