- SSusanSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy family loves Il Fornaio for the ambience and food choices. We have been to LA, Irvine and San Diego places. Today’s pasta was a bit over cooked (Christmas Day), but my daughter’s salmon was perfectly cooked and so was the pizza, otherwise everything’s great, including the calamari and prosciutto appetizers.More infoIl Fornaio - Beverly HillsPrice: Moderate• Italian• Beverly Hills•4.5
- HHelenVIPNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe last time we dined at Piccolo, it was a disappointing experience. The service was poor, and while the food was okay, the soup was served cold. So, when my friend and I decided to give Piccolo another chance last night, we went in with low expectations and even warned ourselves not to arrive too hungry in case the service was still subpar. To our delight, last night’s experience was nothing short of amazing! The service was exceptional, the food was fantastic, and the soup was served piping hot. One of the highlights of the evening was the Pink Pig margarita — deliciously smooth and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, yet the restaurant was completely full. Kudos to the management for addressing past issues and creating such a wonderful dining experience! My only suggestion for improvement would be to use hard chocolate for the tartufo instead of powdered cocoa, which would elevate the dessert even further. - HHanaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoPerfect ambiance and delicious food. The devil is in the details; the ossobucco alla Milanese was a standout (paired well with Chianti), as was the ravioli di Spinaci e Ricotta. We also enjoyed the desserts—tiramisu especially, as it was not too sweet and paired well with espresso. A major plus is that it felt like we were the only diners, despite being fully booked for Christmas Eve; a crowd had gathered at the host stand by the time we left, so I strongly recommend early supper 4-5pm for anyone with young children! It was intimate and private, and my toddler’s needs were always addressed patiently and with genuine warmth, as were my mother’s dietary requirements (gluten, dairy and nightshade allergies). Highly recommend for family meals especially.More infoIl PastaioPrice: Moderate• Italian• Beverly Hills•4.6
