Best Italian Restaurants in Horseshoe Hotel & Casino

Amalfi is exactly what I expected - high-level service in a professional environment...with wonderful food, perfectly prepared. It is so difficult to find these types of restaurants any longer - they are a dying breed. I don't have much to say about the food - when you visit a dining spot with Bobby Flay's name attached to it, you expect high quality food, albeit at a higher-end price point. That's exactly what you get here - no surprises. What was a welcome relief - really, a surprise these days - was the professional, quiet environment and the absolutely 10/10 wait staff. I miss that quality in modern dining. Everyone these days wants to be your friend...or they just don't care - its one or the other. Here - it was complete professionalism, and it was such a pleasure. I felt bad for the restaurant and the wait staff here - in a casino in Vegas - as some diners arrived in baseball caps and torn jeans...spent a decent amount of the time on their phones...or couples wrapped themselves around one another in public displays of affection - as though they might have just met the night before (laughing). It really added a trashy element to an otherwise elegant Thanksgiving evening. This restaurant is top-notch. We'll return.

The logo of yesteryear was that of small plates. They no longer have this choice. But they do allow you to order several dishes and then share them amongst your table. We chose to do this. It was just like having small plates. I think I shall do this and all the different restaurants that I go to from this day forward. We ordered eight different entrees and appetizers combined. We then proceeded to divide them four ways. There was enough food. And the food was absolutely delicious. The waiter's suggestion to order several dishes and then divide them as if they were small plates to begin with was right on the money. Bravo! Service was marvelous. Any questions we had, were answered immediately.

Great food and outstanding service. Worth making the effort to find the Hole in the Wall

Simply lovely experience from beginning to end. I ordered the four course Anniversary menu plus the wine pairing and every bite was outstanding. The crab arrancini was delicious, but the crab wasn't pronounced. The lemon spaghetti was divine. This has been one of Giada's signature dishes and it shows. Bronzino was also exceptional with the roasted fennel and tomato's playing nicely with a perfectly cooked fish. Tiramisu was equally great! The service was impeccable from beginning to end. With great attention to detail, appropriate suggestions, and a good sense of humor. Watch out for the pepper grinder! It is a weapon. Value and atmosphere also quite good for what you expect in Vegas. The location is amazing -- it can be a little loud with the honking of street traffic (exacerbated by Formula One tear down).
