Great place for birthday bookings and the food is great, staff need to slow down when taking food orders but everything was great

Excellent 6 course food tasting menu with paired wines. Service was attentive but not pushy. Environment very comfortable. Lovely experience from start to finish. Food very tasty with good portion sizes to get through 6 courses. Cheesecake dessert probably the best we’ve ever had. All the paired wines were lovely. Definitely recommend.

Valentines evening was lovely , reservation was made online , arrived on time to be welcomed lovely atmosphere staff all helpful had a booth on top over looking the ground was romantic, food was exceptional best Indian I’d had. Five star!! 🙂

Food was very nice, not overly big portions, did feel was expensive for what we had £213 for 4 adults and two children (who ate off kids menu) for just main meals and poppadoms seems a tad excessive but suspect prices are inflated due to being in Prestbury village don’t remember it being this expensive when based in Poynton.

Aamchi Mumbai is my go-to Indian restaurant, and the place where I take friends and family because I know they will enjoy it as much as I do. What I like is a) there's a very good range of vegetarian meals b) you aren't overwhelmed by a huge selection - they do a limited number of dishes, but do them well c) you aren't going to be put off by a good sounding dish that shows 4 chilli peppers and might be too hot - they concentrate on flavour rather than trying to impress with heat d) the owners are Indian and are passionate about what they do. I've never had a bad, or even slightly off meal at this place. The food has always been to a high standard and the service excellent.
