Best Greek Restaurants in West Orange

We enjoyed going out for dinner, and this was an experience. The server, Max, was excellent. He told us every dinner special with flair and personality, making every dish sound perfect. At his recommendation, we tried the tuna appetizer on pillow filo dough puffs; wow! We shared the beet salad (excellent), and the crab cakes were delicious. For dinner, the lamb chops were spectacular. We received a visit from Pete, who showed so much care for the details of the gorgeous Mediterranean interior, and Barbara, who ensured everything was perfect. Their care made us feel genuinely valued. We will make this a regular night out.

The hostess was kind of rude. She was pretty snarking in telling us that we cannot be seated until the full party arrived

The dining experience was outstanding, very fresh selections and beautifully presented. However, the noise level was high…….acoustics poor. We would still return…… as the food was unparalleled!

This was our second visit. First one great but this one way greater. Manny very professional and knowledgeable. Gave amazing recommendation and all were spot on. Definitely will be returning. This place is very good for any type of occasion, even to impress someone because of how great the food is and even better the service.

Hands down best Greek food I’ve ever had.. quick service, beautiful decor , great portions good prices , can’t say enough good about Greek Taverna will definitely be back !!
