Fabulous food, great atmosphere, cosy and welcoming. Friendly staff, a lovely experience.

Our first visit to the Lesters Arms and couldn’t fault it. Great food, good selection on the menu and all staff were pleasant. Will be visiting again.

Excellent food as always and our waitress Alex was very helpful, friendly and catered for all our needs. We had a lovely cosy table by the fire on a cold Wintery day.

From the genuinely friendly welcome to the pleasure of enjoying excellent local produce in lovely intimate surroundings, we thoroughly enjoyed our whole experience. We have been equally delighted on our previous visits and it is reassuring to have experienced the same again. This, to us, is a mark of the quality of staff that The Riverside retains. A lovely day and a very big thank you to everybody at The Riverside who ensured that this birthday visit was a great success.

Food was exceptional, my potatoes were cold and the dish was freshly made again for me, disappointed I couldn’t eat at the same time as my husband but the food made up for this when mine arrived! Highly recommend.
