Best Gastro Pubs in Wrightington

Had to wait for table but only about 20 minutes. Was worth it as food and service excellent.

Very good value gif money, warm and cosy, and a lovely atmosphere. The young man serving behind the bar, and also taking and serving the pub meals, was absolutely charming. So very professional and helpful - nothing g was too much trouble for in. A real asset to the Stamford Arms. ….. He needs a pay rise!

The Legh Arms never disappoints. It is perfect from the beginning to leaving. Front of House staff are superb, menu is extensive and exciting, food is sublime. Quality and presentation are extremely high. Prices are fair. Thank you all at Legh Arms.

Food great, service slightly erratic but overall a good night and definitely good vfm

This was a seven course set Christmas Eve menu, each course was served in a timely manner, and every one was exceptional. Each course had been thoughtfully crafted by the head chef who obviously knows his stuff, along side his hardworking staff, who were all very pleasant and attentive The whole place is professionally run to a high standard and provides an excellent dining experience. We look forward to a return visit in the near future, in the meantime Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2025
