- CChristineYorkshire •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was exquisite, the staff so polite and informative as usual. Two of our party were gluten-intolerant and the choice of mains (didn’t have starters) was very good. It was lovely to have a gluten- free desert that was other than ice-cream and I had the orange tart which was exceptional. Only downside was the thumping music from a private function wasn’t great for fine dining.More infoThe Crathorne ArmsPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Yarm•4.7
- SSusanNewcastle and Northumberland •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLovely lunch with family. We had Woodmans pizza, Woodmans burger and chicken supreme. All well presented, tasty and reasonable value for money. We had a couple of glasses of the pinot grigio blush which wete lovely and also a couple of diet pepsi. Foe dessert we didn't have food, so we had lattes and a hot chocolate. All lovely and just enough after our main meals. Altogether a lovely meal in a lovely setting.More infoThe Woodmans ArmsPrice: Moderate• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.4

The view from the restaurant with the wild crashing waves was spectacular. Can be relied upon to create the perfect start to our regular short breaks. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. It always meets our needs.More infoJolly Fisherman at CrasterPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Craster•4.7
- JJohnNewcastle and Northumberland •3 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 9, 2025Stopped here for Sunday lunch...which was excellent. Service was slow but that was because of a lack of staff in my opinion. It did not spoil the meal though. The beef was beautifully cooked along with large helpings of veg. Lovely pub in a nice location.More infoDuke of Wellington InnPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Newton•4.6
- KKarenNewcastle and Northumberland •2 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 9, 2025Fab Subday dinner, good size portion of hot food. Good choice of vegetables and plenty of gravy. I had chicken and the hubby had belly pork - both very tender. Service from Charlie was spot on, friendly, welcoming and attentive.More infoThe Punch BowlPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Stanley•4.5
