My wife and I are regular patrons of Sorrel. We order six plates to share right through to dessert to maximize our culinary experience. One dish we deem a must is the lobster ravioli. We added grilled calamari and scallop ceviche as our appetizers. Our mains were two go to dishes, salmon and hangar steak. We ended the meal with duo sorbet of passion fruit and strawberry. Couple these dishes with attentive service and an hour and a half later we were smiling from ear to ear and heading home thoroughly satisfied with yet another excellent Sorrel dining experience. If you are reading this post to decide whether or not to dine at Sorrel, do yourself a favour and hit the reservation button. You will be very pleased with your choice. From our side, we look forward to our next visit. Thank you Sorrel staff. See you soon!

Romantic dining rooms in a lovely old house. 6-course Valentine’s Day menu not cheap at $130 but lots of quality here - first four courses (oyster, mushroom consommé, shrimp and crab, gnocchi) innovative presentations and full of flavour, mains (pepper steak or scallops) and dessert (choc mousse) also nicely prepared. Service was impeccable even on such a busy night. Interesting wines on list, typical pricing - we enjoyed an excellent Pinot Noir from Niagara’s Cloudsley Cellars. Highly recommended.

We came for a birthday celebration. We had some caviar and champagne to start which was excellent with nice presentation. Everything was really sweet the whole way through and we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Only note was when it came time to get our coats, the host was gone so I asked a woman in the office/coat room and she seemed a bit inconvenienced by my request to receive our coats back. Not quite hospitable. Everything else was excellent.
