Cozy, stylish room; attentive, friendly service; delicious food including hearty vegetable soup, wonderful, simply composed salads, and terrific fish and poultry entrees. Large portions and well priced. A lovely experience as a starter for the holiday week!More infoNice MatinPrice: Moderate• French• Upper West Side•4.6
- CCINDIENew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI am a restaurant fanatic but I had never been to Rampolidi before. In fact as a REGULAR at the Atlantic Grill for many, many years, I never even knew that their "front room" had become an entirely new and completely magical space (I always chose the "back room" when I went to A.G. because it was so quiet and serene, and of course their front room was anything but). However last night I randomly chose "Rampoldi" because it was near Lincoln Center, where we had tickets for an 8:30 show. WHAT A REVELATION !! My date, who is hard to please, loved the beautiful space and loved the food. Me too !! Christina, who was at the front desk, was not only charming & welcoming but incredibly helpful (I had requested the best situated table for 2 deaf people, and she delivered!). The service was spectacular and the dinner was sublime. My guest, who is NOT easy to please, kept exclaiming over and over about how great the food was, and so did I ! I had a sublime salad to start, and salmon as my main dish, both were excellent. I was thrilled to see Brussels sprouts on the menu as a side, since I love them, and then was blown away that the serving was so generous-- For the first time in my life, I would have asked for a takeaway bag-- but resisted only because those seated near us at Lincoln Center might have noticed the aroma of cooked food ! I also should add that as a cosmo lover, who only has a drink on a very special occasion, my cosmo was as sublime as the food. We both loved this restaurant and since I live just 2 blocks away, I can promise you MANY repeat visits !! What a remarkable dinner in every way, I can't thank you enough !!More infoRampoldiPrice: Expensive• French• Upper West Side•4.4
- DDianeNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe Saddle River Inn is by far the best restaurant in Bergen county. My guests traveled all the way from Brooklyn, NY, and were absolutely in awe of the entire experience. The Christmas holiday decorations adding an extra layer of magic and charm to the already stunning ambiance. The food was perfection—every dish bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. The entire menu was a hit! Even my foodie guests, who are used to Brooklyn’s top dining spots, couldn’t stop raving about it. With the festive decor, cozy-yet-elegant vibe, and next-level cuisine, the Saddle River Inn made our holiday gathering truly unforgettable.More infoThe Saddle River InnPrice: Expensive• French• Saddle River•4.8
- SStevenNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Outstanding food and service rivaling something you would see in a small French bistro in a quiet arrondissement in Paris. Chef Michael making the rounds added an extra special touch. My wife and I shared the lump crab soufflé and split the Fallen cheese special. The filling was suburb and was finished in a lobster sauce that was like a lighter version of a lobster bisque. The fallen cheese was Brie and goat mixed together with fresh strawberries and a jam. We each had the salmon which was tremendous. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the sauce was absolutely incredible. Perfectly made pearl cous cous with the veggies was a great accompaniment.More infoLatour RestaurantPrice: Expensive• French• Ridgewood, New Jersey•4.8

It was a late lunch and all aspects from greeting to menu selection were amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was polite, friendly and extremely professional. Overall, this was a great meal and I would definitely recommend Freelance.More infoFreelance Cafe & Wine BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary French / American• Piermont•4.8
