Piermont NY is just a beautiful sleepy waterfront village with more than a few fine restaurants. This is one of them. Wonderful attentive service. Great ambiance. Food is superb! - JJillNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is my 2nd time here. I made reservations weeks ahead of time due to the holiday. I was only able to get outside lobby area. Upon arrival I asked if anything was available inside and they had high top bar seating available at their “seafood bar”. I was with my friend and our daughters under twenty one. Since it was freezing they wanted the inside. We had no trouble talking and the view from this spot was nice. Our server Dorji was EXCELLENT. He was very attentive to our needs and made great suggestions on drinks. We decided on the espresso martini and it was perfect. Our arrival was before 6 so the prix fix was available and you definitely get a lot for your money. The salad was okay but the French onion soup was wonderful and really hit the spot on a cold day. Two of us had the coq au vin and that was delicious. My friend had the steak and was happy. My daughter ordered the NY strip off the regular menu. She loved the fries, enjoyed the steak but said the cut was a little tough. We had crème brûlée which was a wonderful way to end the meal. The location of the restaurant is perfect if you are in town for the holidays. The place was decorated beautifully as well.More infoLa Grande BoucheriePrice: Very Expensive• French• Midtown West•4.5
- DDianeNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024The Saddle River Inn is by far the best restaurant in Bergen county. My guests traveled all the way from Brooklyn, NY, and were absolutely in awe of the entire experience. The Christmas holiday decorations adding an extra layer of magic and charm to the already stunning ambiance. The food was perfection—every dish bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. The entire menu was a hit! Even my foodie guests, who are used to Brooklyn’s top dining spots, couldn’t stop raving about it. With the festive decor, cozy-yet-elegant vibe, and next-level cuisine, the Saddle River Inn made our holiday gathering truly unforgettable.More infoThe Saddle River InnPrice: Expensive• French• Saddle River•4.8
- AAlanVIPNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024The experience was very nice. The food was excellent. I had chicken martini, while my wife had spaghetti with shrimp fra diavlo. Both were expertly prepared. We shared a tri-color salad, which was good but because we shared it, you would say its on the smaller side. No dessert. Wait staff was attentive. It was a Tuesday night and not very busy so we were well cared for. All-in-all, it was very pleasant.More infoCapersPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Port Chester•3.9
