- RRimaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe visited La Grande Boucherie during Christmas day. - restaurant looked very festive and cozy. - live music - food 4 stars out of 5. Oysters were amazing. french onion soup was ok, but nothing special. I ate FILET MIGNON and it was really good. My husband had STEAK FRITES and said it was nothing special, not going to eat it next time. For the desert we ordered PROFITEROLES it was tasty and alot! Overall experience was nice, we will come back!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.4
- SstanChicago / Illinois •18 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Christmas Eve dinner is always a hit, but this they seemed to somehow take it up a notch. If they didn't have a seasonal, changing menu, I'd plead for that halibut to be a permanent fixture on the menu. Great service from the host, the bartenders, the server, the runners...Bastille is still nailing it. Oh, and special props to the bartenders. They are real pros who obviously take pride in their craft and not just absent-mindedly throwing ingredients together.More infoBastillePrice: Expensive• French• Alexandria•4.7
- CCathyWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFood: gorgeous desserts; tasty scones (wish were warmer); sandwiches tasted good, but were not anything special in appearance. Ambiance: crowded and small, but they kindly set up a little extra table for us; typical in this area for restaurants to be small and crowded. Awesome decor and Christmas decorations. Very very lit with natural light. Service: Wonderful! Kind, thoughtful, patient servers. We did not feel rushed; tea time is about taking time for leisurely conversation and savoring of the fare. That was accomplished. We felt relaxed.More infoLady CamelliaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Alexandria•4.7
