- LLukeMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined 4 days ago10 years since we first dined at Bellota and it's just as good as we remember. Selecting great plonk from Prince Wine Store next door for very reasonable corkage is a real treat. Food and service were excellent. No doubt the place will still be around in another 10 years - top draw! We had oysters, scallops, scampi and steak - outstanding. Look forward to next visit. The room is lovely, tables set with linen. The room feels serene and luxurious. The food is superb, modern French with an Australian accent. Every dish was outstanding. Service is relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend a dinner at Malin. I look forward to a return visit.More infoMalinPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Carlton North•4.8
- SSoniaMelbourne •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoTasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.More infoVue de mondePrice: Very Expensive• Modern Australian• Melbourne CBD•4.9

The food was also wonderful with the tartare and kingfish being standout dishes. Thanks for a wonderful experience team!More infoFrench SaloonPrice: Expensive
