- DDanielleVIPWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur food and ambiance was wonderful. Our server was good until she asked if we wanted dessert, then informed us we had to be out of our table in 10 minutes for another party. If we had a heads up, we would have gladly rushed along, but every step of the way the server told us “take your time, enjoy”. We got booted promptly at 7:00 and brought our drinks that we had ordered before we knew we had 10 minute to order/drink them/order dessert/be gone, to the bar. The entire time we sat at the bar, the bartender was giving us unsettling looks/gesturing to another server their confusion as to why we were sitting at the bar DRINKING COCKTAILS. Once we finished our drinks and started to get our coats on, one bar stool was not completely pushed in under the bar, and our waitress physically kicked it under the bar with anger and said something under her breath. SO BIZARRE! The evening was great until it wasn’t. I have never experienced something like this and left feeling very disappointed and unsettled. Please do better.More infoCafe CollinePrice: Expensive• French• Arlington•4.8

- RrichardVIPBaltimore / Maryland •39 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoTruly a diamond dining experience! When I walked into the restaurant I felt like I entered a French or Swiss chalet where I was then greeted by a distinguished French speaking host. Crisp white linen table clothes adorned each table and a lovely gaslight fireplace in the center made for a perfect ambiance. All the servers were older distinguished looking gentlemen buzzing through the restaurant focused on one thing- guest hospitality! Loved it. I cannot say enough about our server from San Salvador Emilio who coursed out our dinner so perfectly, beginning with baked oysters and ending with chocolate souffle. Definitely Old World dining done to perfection! Enjoyed chatting with the guests from each side of our table! Cannot wait to return in the future!
