Chef Tory has created such a diverse menu that makes it hard to make a selection. Every detail of execution is perfection. - MMaryAustin •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWhat a great find! Hadn't heard about this place, but stumbled upon it on Open Table. Had no idea what to expect as it was a bit of a hike for us to get there for a Tuesday date night. We couldn't have been more delighted! Cozy atmosphere with big roaring fire, lovely bar setting, and communal tables. We arrived at 7:15pm so couldn't see the outside setting which would be nice in daylight. Service was amazing by Michael with great descriptions about the food. We had the duck rillettes and bok choy appetizers -- both amazing, could eat that bok choy every day! My husband had the bouillabaise and I had the braised short ribs again both full of flavor! Chef Daniel came out to say hello and gave us some background on the place. Warm, cozy, great food, personable -- couldn't have asked for more! We'll be back!More infoThe Silo Cookhouse at The Horse Shoe FarmPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Hendersonville•4.7
- JJenvipAsheville / Western North Carolina •28 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoHad a lovely dinner. It was only their 2nd day being open post-Hurricane and absolutely no glitches. We had the cheese board which was well-curated and featured their outstanding housemade pimento cheese as well as 2 other local cheeses. The shrimp and grits entree was delectable. Our booth by the Christmas tree was cozy. It was a wonderful evening.More infoThe Market Place RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Asheville•4.4
- RRickPhoenix / Arizona •4 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 18, 2024Amber is a wonderful server. The Pork Belly entree was nothing short of awful…all fat…not at all crispy like I’ve had there before. Amber did offer me the chance to order something else instead which unfortunately I declined. Another member of our party ordered the Cajun chicken pot pie but it wasn’t the least bit Cajun. He likes spicy so he was disappointed. Amber offered me a dessert which I’d thought would be complimentary as a small compensation for my uneaten pork belly…and I let her choose the dessert…bread pudding was good. However I guess we misunderstood as she charged me for it. We didnt make an issue of it but we were disappointed. I love Heirloom but my hubby says we won’t be going back for awhile.More infoHeirloomPrice: Moderate• American• Spartanburg•4.8
