Just discovered this lovely out of the way Restaurant. Beautiful setup, good food ! We went for lunch with friends and really enjoyed ourselves .We will go back for dinner soon !

Food was exceptional. Flavours delightful and Celeste our server was charming. Love going to Haliburton Post House for special occasions.

Our whole dining experience this evening was top notch. Jaida, our server, was engaging, attentive and the service was spot on. Our bartender made a perfect Pisco Sour. Good selection of wines. The meal was fantastic: heirloom carrots with zhug and almonds, frites with an amazing garlic aioli, grilled bok choy caesar salad and a filet mignon to die for. Grilled perfectly, as was the halibut with navy beans. Too full for dessert, but artisanal chocolates were brought out with a sparkler for my husband’s birthday. We have consistently had fabulous meals at The Common Stove and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Discovered a new dining experience that will become a staple in our preferred restaurants. The ambience especially during this holiday season is warm and inviting; the food is exquisite and you have to try the specialty cocktails alcoholic and non. The view over the lake is serene and peaceful and really highlights Rice Lake. Jill, thanks for your great service and good humour.

Fantastic as usual! Mat our server was amazing, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu choices! So much food, plentiful drinks and wonderful atmosphere. Our favorite date night place, and didn't disappoint for my husband's 50th! We will see you soon Gusto!
