Food was great. Just need smaller portions. Service was outstanding even when our server was training someone new. Nice to have another wonderful restaurant on the square.

Our dinner at Dovetail was really outstanding! The food and service were exceptional! Our waiter, Caleb, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. His recommendations for food and drink were on point. We started with the house pickles and deviled eggs and both were excellent. We shared the house salad and scallops, and the scallops were cooked perfectly! We also shared the sea bass entrée and it was also cooked to perfection! And whoever made that romesco sauce has got it going on, lol!!! 😋 We highly recommend Dovetail: great food and great service. 👍

The three of us shared the whipped chicken liver to start our lunch and then ordered the bacon hash, chicken breast, and pork schnitzel. Everything was delicious with nice balance of flavors and textures. We were very pleased. There is talent in the kitchen. The wine list may have offered a bit better choices in the whites & rosés, but as we left they were preparing to select new reds to update the list. Definitely an enjoyable meal.
