Made an early reservation and specifically asked NOT to be seated next to the service area. Guess which table I was immediately led to? I was grudgingly moved to another table and seated. Service was excellent but the food was not. The lobster shooter was tiny bits of lobster in a butter-filled shot glass. Meh. The prosciutto and burrata plate would have been good if the prosciutto had not been pre-sliced and sitting on the plate in the cooler for who know’s how long - it was literally glued to the plate and each piece had to be scraped off to eat. The burrata was good but the sticky prosciutto sort of ruined the dish. Several pieces of the accompanying bread were completely burnt on one side and others barely toasted. My final course was the mushroom risotto. It arrived covered in a dried parsley garnish..while this may “look” attractive it does nothing for the taste. Adding dried bits of greenery to a risotto gave it an unpleasant taste and the pieces get stuck in your teeth, something no one appreciates while dining. The taste of the risotto was ok but nothing exceptional. That was my overall impression, ok but nothing that would make me want to return to try other dishes. The place filled up before I left so it’s obviously popular with local diners but I must have missed those dishes. I’m disappointed because it’s very close and would have been a regular dining spot if the food was good.More infoCork & ForkPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Indio•4.2
- JJudyPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •27 reviews5.0Dined todayDinner was wonderful. Had happy hour menu items and they were perfect size for a light meal. Only complaint was we were charged for extra chips to go with our starter guacamole. Ridiculous as we were only given chips to begin with.More infoSi BonPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Rancho Mirage•4.8
- GGenevieveOrange County •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI highly recommend the Colony Club, a charming French restaurant with standout specialties like homemade Chicharrón served with a spicy sauce and a fresh crudités platter with hummus. The colonial-style decor and cozy ambiance make it an ideal spot for an intimate dinner. The highlight of the experience is the exceptional service, especially from Isi, who brings an entertaining and lively touch to the evening. The only minor downside is that the outdoor seating can get a bit chilly during the winter months.More infoThe Colony ClubPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Palm Springs•4.3
- BBobVIPToronto / Ontario •172 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoValentine date evening. Quality food and outstanding service by our server Magdalena N. and the wait staff. Cocktails (Cosmo & Martini) were very good. We shared a Lemon Pepper salad and entrees were a Filet with a side of mixed vegetables and Braised Beef Short Rib over mashed potatoes with green beans. All were outstanding…tasty, delicious and perfectly prepared and presented. An outstanding evening!More infoMorgan's in the DesertPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• La Quinta•4.6
